How local screening data and privacy-limited website analytics are handled

Last updated: August 22, 2026

ADHD Test Online keeps screening answers and results in your browser. The site uses privacy-limited GA4 and self-hosted Umami page analytics, but does not send questionnaire answers, scores, or result levels to either service.

Screening Answers Stay on Your Device

Answers, progress, and results are processed with JavaScript in your browser and saved only in this site's local storage. They are not submitted to our servers, included in URLs, or sent to third-party analytics services.

Local Storage Is Not a Tracking Cookie

Local storage is used only so you can continue a test or revisit a result on the same browser. You can remove saved test data with the restart controls or by clearing this site's storage in your browser. Private browsing or clearing site data may remove progress.

Privacy-Limited Website Analytics

GA4 is configured with analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization denied. This prevents GA4 from reading or writing analytics and advertising cookies while allowing cookieless page measurements. Self-hosted Umami records ordinary page-view information, respects the browser's Do Not Track setting, and excludes URL query strings and hashes. These services may process the page URL, title, referrer, browser or device details, language, screen size, timestamp, IP or other routine request data. We do not send test answers, scores, result levels, names, email addresses, or custom test events to analytics.

Hosting and Security Logs

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process routine request data such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, timestamp, and security events to deliver and protect the site. Screening answers and result scores are not part of those requests.

Children's Privacy

The child SNAP-IV form is intended for a parent, caregiver, or teacher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the form does not ask for a child's name, contact details, school, or other identifying information.

Your Control

Because screening data remains on your device, we cannot retrieve, correct, or delete it from a server. You control it through the test controls and browser storage settings. Printing or sharing a saved copy is your choice.

Policy Changes

If site practices change, this page will be updated with the real modification date. Any future feature that sends screening data off the device would require clear notice and a separate privacy review before release.
